Alright the bug should have been fixed (v1.7.4).
It was mostly my fault but YouTube's miniplayer seems to be also bugged currently. If toggled on top of a shorts video, would also cause playback progress to reset when entering miniplayer mode, but is an entirely seperate issue. I added something to fix that too but who knows when YouTube will break it again.

There's a bug when using youtube's miniplayer (the one when you press 'i' while a video is playing).
The script causes the playback position to jump back to the start of the video when entering the miniplayer. Additionally, if I let the video play for a while in the miniplayer, then expand it back to the full video, the script restores the old playback position from before I started using the miniplayer.
