As promised, it does add a "Mark for later" button to the fic blurb while browsing AO3 and clicking the button does add the fic to your marked for later list. I didn't have the issue that the other commenter had.
It would be great if the button would show if you already have the fic in your marked for later list, but I understand that's a much taller order. If I ever figure out the code for it, I'll update it here. I have slim to none coding experience though so any suggestions are extremely welcome :)
