This box is AMAZING. I cannot recommend it enough--I tell people about it whenever they bring up commenting on fics and how it can be difficult if you're writing long comments. This is seriously one of my favorite extensions/scripts EVER. It makes it soooooooo easy to write longer comments (which I love doing) and it saves your comment even if you haven't gone to that tab with the fic in weeks. Like I said, I cannot recommend it enough!!! <3
Even when I had an issue where it seemed to disappear when I reinstalled Chrome, I found a fix and ALL my in-progress comments were saved. (I posted a fix to that in the "Hack for fixing box after installing browser" comment.)
A user figured out that there's a bug where if you're posting or editing a fic of your own, the script will add some random text to the bottom of the fic text entry box. However, another user put detailed instructions on what to change in the code so that that bug no longer happens, and it worked for me, so I definitely recommend that if you are a fic writer in addition to reader/commenter :)
