Powerful control on YouTube
< 脚本 Nova YouTube(Floating video issue fixed) 的反馈
Hello, you can try clearing your browser's cache. Also, please make sure you have disabled the original Nova YouTube script first.
I have tested it repeatedly, I use chrome, and it works.
Hope everything goes well.
I don't know what to say. This is what it looks like: https://i.imgur.com/JZSLPVv.png
On the latest v0.50.0.5 version. Cleared cache, orig Nova disabled, etc etc. And the floating player is the only option enabled. I am on Brave 1.85.116 but it's basically Chrome anyway.
Either way, I really appreciate your work. Nova's floating player is the best one out there. Glad someone is trying to keep it alive.
I don't know why, but I specifically downloaded the Brave browser, then installed Tampermonkey, and then installed this script, and everything worked fine.

I'm using the same version of Brave as you, and I'm on macOS 15.5 . However, I did have to adjust a few settings because Brave, by default, blocks JavaScript execution, so the script wouldn't work immediately after installation.
I went into the browser settings, then to Privacy and Security, then clicked Security, and selected "No protection (not recommended)".
I also went to Extensions -> Manage Extensions, clicked the Details button for Tampermonkey, found "Allow User Scripts," and enabled it.
I don't know if this will be helpful to you, but I hope everything works out.
Are you using Theater Mode? In Default view, the mini player is on top like it's supposed to(both this one and old Nova). In Theater Mode, it's under. Tested with Firefox this time - clean browser with only Tampermonkey installed and only your Nova installed.
Also tested on Chrome. Same thing. In Default view, it's on top like normal. In Theater/Cinema mode, it's under. So Theater/Cinema mode definitely screws something up.
Sadly, doesn't work. Still the exact same issue, floating player is under the comment section and recommended videos, etc.
Also, there is no chance the original creator(raingart) is updating Nova.. raingart has abandoned it.
