Since this script is limited to the Japanese localization of YT, I would like to inform about a more universal way to hide these buttons using only uBlock Origin:
Go to the uBlock settings, which can be opened by clicking the Open the dashboard button;
Go to the My filters tab;
Copy the text below ⤵ and paste it into the appropriate text field
Save your changes by clicking the checkmark button at the top left of the screen.
Done✅
💡 If Google makes any changes to the player layout that cause thePreviousandNextbuttons to no longer be hidden, delete the last two lines in theMy filterstab, then manually remove the corresponding buttons using the uBlockEnter element picker modefunction.
