I would be very grateful if you could discuss the possibility of adding your own chess engines. Is this possible now?

It will never be fully supported. Most engines run as native programs on C++ which can be hard to port to WASM. I'd need to make a desktop application you'd need to download. I'll let other projects focus on those native programs, I'm interested in the userscript/web aspect of this.

Thanks for the reply. So, the current system for importing engines in JSON format isn't fully implemented and doesn't work? I tried that, but the engine still wasn't active.

That's just the settings config. You cannot import engines in JSON format.
