Automatically redirect content stealing websites to their original counterparts
Fix added for Chrome-based browsers in version 1.1 (see my response to the other bug report).
Hi, I know this is two years later, but if you're interested, I just tested the userscript and here are the results:
| domain | details | |
|---|---|---|
| bigresource.com | Not working, requires a captcha | |
| bighow.net | Domain is defunct/parked | |
| forumsee.com | Working | |
| linuxine.com | Domain times out | |
| techassistbox.com | Redirects to random spammy websites | |
| techforumnetwork.com | Working | |
| youku.io | Domain times out |
Yeah, I haven't seen a lot of these domains in a while, so I suppose their business model (whatever it may be) didn't work out? Only bigresource (which is still working; they just show the CAPTCHA to everybody and there's no way to bypass it automatically) still seems to be around at times.
I don't think there's that much use for „Original Content” anymore frankly. Maybe I should remove the broken sites through…
Anyway, thanks for your analysis!
