🕹️ Usage Guide
Tabs
The new tab bar appears on the right sidebar of video pages.
Click a tab or use shortcuts (g i, g c, g v) to switch.
Your last tab will be remembered for subsequent videos.
When you return to a tab, your scroll position is restored.
Playback Speed
A speed badge is injected near the YouTube player controls.
Click to cycle through speeds; your choice persists for future videos.
Screenshots
Press Ctrl + Shift + S to capture the current frame as a PNG.
The file name contains the video title and timestamp.
Ad Marking
Ad elements are highlighted/dimmed.
(This is purely visual; it does not block ads.)
⚙️ Settings & Customization
Open the userscript manager’s menu on a YouTube tab and click “Open settings”.
Options typically include:
Toggle right-side tabs

View & customize keyboard shortcuts
Settings are stored via your userscript manager’s storage (GM_getValue/GM_setValue) and persist across sessions.

🌈 Theming & UI
The rainbow progress bar replaces the standard red track.
Rounded corners and small spacing refinements are applied to tab panels.
The script respectfully coexists with most themes; if a custom theme overrides it, toggle the rainbow bar in Settings.
🧩 Compatibility Notes
Designed for the new YouTube layout on desktop.
Works alongside most ad blockers and UI tweakers.
If another extension also restructures the right column, you may see:
The tab bar collapsing/overlapping, or
A tab not appearing.
In that case, try toggling conflicting features or temporarily disabling the other extension.
🛠️ Troubleshooting
Nothing appears
Ensure the script is enabled in Tampermonkey and the match rule includes https://www.youtube.com/*.
Hard refresh the page (Ctrl+F5).
Buttons show but don’t work
Check the browser console (F12) for errors from other extensions.
Layout looks broken
Another extension may be modifying the same sidebar. Disable it briefly to confirm.
Screenshots not saving
Some privacy extensions interfere with downloads. Temporarily disable them to test.
Reset settings
Open the script settings and use Reset (if present), or remove the script and reinstall.
🔐 Privacy
The script does not collect or transmit any personal data.
No network requests are made other than what YouTube already performs.
♻️ Uninstall
Remove it from your userscript manager (Tampermonkey/Violentmonkey).
Reload YouTube.
