This script provides a way to discover similar stories inside works on the Archive Of Our Own, giving recommendations based on the fandom, pairing, and tags of a chosen fanfic. It creates a custom search URL based on those elements that can be enhanced by the user's custom parameters, making up to 5 attempts with other combinations until it answers with 5 new works that fit the search.
It relies heavily on tag searching, so it won't work well on fanfics with very few tags, and will need a couple of tries on works with a lot of unique tags.
AO3 has limits in place to avoid spams and other malicious requests. You might encounter an error if you refresh/randomize recommendations repeatedly in a short period. Please use it with caution so their servers stay healthy.
This is still a work in progress, so it might have some bugs. please tell me if something is wrong! i'll try my best to solve it :)
