YouTube - Holographic Interface (Holo Glitch)
Step into the future with the Holographic Interface for YouTube!
This script radically overhauls YouTube's appearance, giving it a science-fiction aesthetic, as if the entire interface were an unstable holographic projection. Say goodbye to the classic flat design and hello to an immersive, animated experience.
Main Features:
- Full Holographic Effect: The entire interface is tinted with a cybernetic blue and overlaid with fine scan lines for an authentic look.
- Fluid Animations: The hologram doesn't just appear. It materializes from a thin line of light and dematerializes in the same fashion, creating spectacular transitions.
- Glitch Effect: Once activated, the hologram "flickers" and distorts slightly at irregular intervals, simulating an unstable energy projection.
- 3D Curved Screen: The interface isn't flat! It's slightly curved to give the impression of being projected onto a cockpit display or a sci-fi monitor.
- Total Immersion: The scrollbar is completely hidden to avoid breaking the illusion.
- Discreet Control: A small, simple circle hidden in the top-right corner of the screen allows you to toggle the effect with a single click. It's dark when the effect is off and glows with a bright cyan when active.
How to Use:
After installing the script, go to YouTube. A small, dark circle will appear in the top-right corner. Click it to activate the hologram. Click it again to turn it off.
Tips and Known Issues:
This script deeply modifies YouTube's display. It may conflict with other extensions that also alter the interface (like some very aggressive ad-blockers).
If the script doesn't work:
- Try "force-reloading" the page (
Ctrl+F5
or Cmd+Shift+R
). - If that doesn't help, try clearing your browser's cache for the YouTube website.
- As a last resort, temporarily disable your other YouTube-related extensions to see if one of them is causing the conflict.
Enjoy a unique YouTube experience!
