The YouTube View & Age Filter enhances your browsing experience by adding a powerful, yet easy-to-use, control panel directly onto the YouTube page. You can finally tailor your feed, search results, and subscription pages to show only the videos that matter to you.


Whether you're looking for viral hits with millions of views or undiscovered gems with only a handful, this script gives you the power to decide what you see.

Key Features

  • Dual Filtering: Filter videos by view count, video age, or a combination of both!
  • View Count Filter: Show videos with more than or less than a specific number of views (e.g., > 100,000).
  • Video Age Filter: Show videos that are newer or older than a specific time frame (e.g., newer than 6 months).
  • Flexible Time Units: Set the video age filter in days, months, or years.

How to Install

  1. Make sure you have a user script manager. Tampermonkey is recommended (available for Chrome, Firefox, Edge, Safari).
  2. Click the "Install this script" button on this page.
  3. Your script manager will open a new tab. Confirm the installation.

How to Use

  1. Navigate to YouTube. You will see a new control panel on the right side of the screen.

  2. To Filter by Views:
    • Enter a number in the view count field.
    • Select "Greater Than" or "Less Than".

  3. To Filter by Age:
    • Check the "Enable Age Filter" box.
    • Enter a number and select the time unit (Days, Months, Years).
    • Select "Newer Than" or "Older Than".
  4. Click the "Apply & Reload" button to save your settings and refresh the page with the filters applied.
  5. Click the "Hide/Show Controls" button to collapse or expand the menu at any time.
