this script provides a very simple way to get the m3u8 stream url to feed into VLC, MPC-HC or virtually any other player capable of playing streams; it also offers pre-built oneliners for ffmpeg and yt-dlp to download said stream.

as of v1.0, you can set the script to show the stream url on page load, without having to click anything.
in order to do this, change the variable loadonload on top of the script from 0 to 1. as easy as that!
as of v1.5, you can download the seperate mp4 video and audio files and play them locally - they do play in sync. however, it seems direct downloads are not always available.
works on both DE and FR and covers live streams and standard programs as well as "arte concert"
