Highlights in real time the route your ship is about to fly, so you can avoid wasting AP on weird moves or running into monsters you'd rather avoid. It tries to be clever and pretty without getting in the way.
Features
highlights the destination and route tiles, draws a guide line through them
displays the AP cost of each step (based on tile types and current drive efficiency only)
obstruction-aware: knows you cannot fly through solid energy or monsters, will draw relevant graphics (destination + cursor, guide line, and autopilot failure point) in red when needed
compatible with partial refresh, any size nav grid, flight animation
makes the tile edges visible without resizing anything
FYI
reverse-engineered Pardus wayfinding: there may be edgecases I haven't discovered yet where my algorithm deviates from the game, but it's 100% accurate in my flights so far and has correctly predicted some very wonky paths
not programmed to account for things I can't access with my newbie account or that aren't visible on the nav screen, like Advanced Skills or Flux Capacitors
minimal but not zero interference in nav grid html, may not work in combination with other mods
