This user script allows users to easily read selected text using OpenAI's TTS API with adjustable volume and speed. It features one of the top-performing TTS systems, and users only need to replace the API key to use it.

Key Features:

  • Adjustable volume and speed control,along with voice selection.
  • Easy API key replacement.

Usage:

  1. Install the script using a user script manager like Tampermonkey.
  2. Replace the YOUR_API_KEY variable with your OpenAI API key.
  3. Select the text you want to read on any webpage.
  4. Click the button with the play icon (">") to initiate text-to-speech playback.
  5. Adjust volume and speed using the control panel.

Note: Make sure to select text before clicking the button.
