redirect from hostname.slashdot.org to slashdot.org
Really simple little script to redirect visits to *.slashdot.org to slashdot.org. Does not edit the front page links, so you get a free bonus page load when clicking links.
Occasionally, as now, a bug crops up on Slashdot that breaks theming so that your chosen theme only appears on the main site view, not subdomain/hostname views. That currently breaks posting for me, so I wrote this.
I also wrote a script to rewrite the links on the site itself to remove the hostnames, called slashdot de-hostify links.
