There is a fucked up download manager on addic7ed.com.
Addic7ed Subtitles offers subtitles with timely availability. Unfortunately, some asshat decided that it should be linked to a scummy download manager.
The site's proposed solution to the inconvenience of this 'feature' is to just have users stay logged in. This is, of course, bullshit, because such behavior is really only useful for tracking users. Otherwise they could just log in when they wanted to upload and edit subs.
Stupid things aside, then, I made a script that's designed to uncheck all of the download manager checkboxes and then remove them completely. It worked when I tried it. Maybe it'll work for you as well. The script is provided with no warranty, implied or otherwise. Use at your own risk. The worst that could really happen is that Addic7ed is rendered unusable, but arguably that is already the case.
