Since MALGraph will shut down soon, this script provides the link to calculate missing relation and find entries with wrong status or episode/chapter count.
For anime open this link: http://myanimelist.net/editlist.php?type=anime
For manga open this link: http://myanimelist.net/panel.php?go=editmanga
Then press 'refresh' link near 'Missing Relations' and wait until the script calculates all entries.
The results are saved into cache.
