WME Simplify Place Geometry allows you to (surprise!) simplify the geometry of area places.

Note: I am still considering this as being in beta. Please contact me with any bugs you find, suggestions, or comments.

To use:

  1. Adjust the simplification factor using the slider on the sidebar tab for the script if desired. A higher factor will cause more simplification. If you are trying to clear most of the geometry of an area, set a high factor then add geometry points as needed. The effect of a given factor is larger on smaller areas.
  2. Select an area place to simplify.
  3. Press 'shift+j' to simplify or 'ctrl+shift+j' to clear the geometry
  4. Check the results and adjust geometry as necessary.
  5. If it looks good, save your changes.
