Auto Scroll, also skips SponsorBlock videos, thumbs down auto scrolls to next video, tracker remover from share link
The Auto Scroll for YouTube Shorts script (version 5.4) is a streamlined Tampermonkey userscript that makes watching YouTube Shorts faster and cleaner.
Here's exactly what it does:
Master automatic scrolling:
The floating pill in the bottom-right corner shows "AUTO" (red) when enabled or "OFF" (gray) when disabled. Left-click toggles it.
When "AUTO" is on, the script automatically advances to the next Short the moment the current video finishes playing (using the reliable ended event with a timeupdate backup). When off the script does nothing.
Thumbs down auto-scroll:
Right-click the pill to open a single-option menu: "Auto scroll on thumbs down" (enabled by default).
Checked + "AUTO" on: Disliking a video instantly skips to the next Short.
Unchecked or "AUTO" off: Disliking does nothing extra—no skip occurs.
Full SponsorBlock video skip:
If any SponsorBlock segment is detected in the current Short (sponsor overlay or segment marker appears), the script immediately skips the entire video to the next one. This is an unfortunate requirement but allowing SponsorBlock videos caused significant problems.
BONUS! Share link privacy cleanup:
When the Share button is clicked, the script silently strips the ?si= tracking parameter (and any other query strings) from the copied URL, leaving a clean link without trackers.
Settings persist across sessions via localStorage. No bloat, no external calls—just fast, private Shorts navigation with full user control.
