How to Use Your YouTube Blocker Script



BLOCKING BY TITLE KEYWORDS

  • Click the Blocker Settings icon (a circle with a line through it) in the YouTube header.
  • In the "Block by Title Keywords" box, add or remove your keyword sets.
  • Place each keyword set on a new line (e.g., daily vlog).
  • A video will be blocked if its title contains ALL words from any line.
  • Click "Save" when you are finished.

BLOCKING BY CHANNEL NAMES

  • Click the Blocker Settings icon in the YouTube header.
  • In the "Block by Channel names" box, add or remove channel names.
  • Place each channel name on a new line (e.g., MrBeast).
  • Do not include the @ symbol.
  • Click "Save" when you are finished.

HOW TO USE "BLOCK THIS CHANNEL" (QUICK BLOCK)

This feature lets you quickly block a channel without opening the settings. It is the only option remaining in the Tampermonkey icon menu.

Method 1: On the Home Page, Search, or Subscriptions Feed

  • Right-click on a YouTube video title or channel name. (You do not need to select anything from the menu, just right-click once).
  • Move your mouse up to the Tampermonkey icon (not the filter icon) and click it.
  • Select "Block This Channel" from the menu.
  • A confirmation box will appear. Click "OK" to block the channel.

Method 2: While Watching a Video

  • While on a video's "watch" page, click the Tampermonkey icon.
  • Select "Block This Channel".
  • It will automatically find the channel you are watching and ask for confirmation. Click "OK".
