Auto-injects blank PNG images for Aurora editing with UI controls
Grok Aurora Getter Backerer: Kinda Edition
Automatically injects blank images into Grok so you can edit them without uploading manually. I cobbled this together through trial and error, but it's been working solid for me for weeks now.
What it does:
- Automatically grabs a blank image and throws it into your requests so you can edit it
- Pick whether you want portrait, landscape, or square orientation
- Automatically adds "Edit this image to show:" to your prompts so Grok knows what you're doing
- Saves the image files for 30 minutes so it doesn't have to re-upload them every time
- Dark UI in the corner that you can toggle on and off
- Just works™
How to use it:
1. Toggle it on/off in the bottom right corner
2. Pick your image size
3. Type what you want and send it—the blank image gets injected automatically
4. Done
Image Quality Note:
The Aurora edit mode output is a bit weirder and "hillbilly" compared to regular Image Gen mode—less polished overall. That said, it's still pretty close and definitely better than imagine_h_1, so it's worth using if you need the editing capability.
Fair warning: I made this by messing around and seeing what stuck. There might be bugs I haven't found yet, but I've been using it daily for weeks and haven't run into anything major. If something breaks, let me know.
Needs: Grok account + TamperMonkey
