⚔️ Description

Ever wondered if enhancing your sword is a bigger upgrade than leveling a skill? JIGS (Jigglymoose's Intelligent Gear Simulator) is a powerful batch-simulation tool that helps you find the single best upgrade for your character.

It's designed to let you test dozens of small, incremental changes automatically, giving you a sorted list of the biggest DPS improvements.

Stop guessing and start optimizing!

⚠️ Requirements

1. Userscript Manager: You must have a browser extension like Tampermonkey, Greasemonkey, or Violentmonkey installed.

2. MWITools Script: This script REQUIRES the MWITools script to be installed and active, as it provides the necessary "Import" button. You can install it here: https://greasyfork.org/en/scripts/494467-mwitools

Note :: Integration with the official Milky Way Idle Market API to fetch live pricing data, requires a one-time permission grant in Tampermonkey.

📋 How to Use

  1. Import Your Character 🕵️‍♀️

First, you need to load your character into the simulator. Go to the Shykai MWI Combat Simulator, click the "Import solo/group" button, and paste your data. The JIGS panel will appear in the bottom-right and load your data after the first simulation runs.

(If manually importing or group importing you will need to select the character in Shykai and then click on "Capture Setup")

  2. Set Your Baseline 🎯

Next, define the standard for your tests. In the JIGS panel, find the "Simulation Settings" section and adjust the Select Zone, Difficulty, and Duration. Once you have your desired settings, click the red "Update Baseline" button. The "Baseline DPS" value will update, and all future tests will be compared against it.

  3. Set Your "What If?" Scenarios 🧪

Now it's time to set up your experiments. The values in the JIGS panel show your current setup. To test an upgrade, simply change any value to your desired target. You can make as many changes as you want! For example, change a skill level from 90 to 99, or an item's enhancement from +7 to +8.

  4. Run the Simulations 🚀

Click the green "Run Simulations" button. The script will now automatically test each individual change, calculate its cost and DPS gain, and populate the results table.

  5. Analyze the Results 📊

The results table shows you the value of each upgrade. The most important column is "Gold per 0.01% DPS"—lower numbers are more cost-effective. You can click any table header to sort the results and easily find your best and most cost-effective upgrades.

💡 Important Notes

Browser Compatibility: This script was developed and tested exclusively on Google Chrome. While it may work on other browsers with a Tampermonkey extension, functionality is not guaranteed.

Understanding RNG Variance: Due to the random nature of combat (RNG), you may sometimes see a small negative DPS change for what should be a clear upgrade. This is normal for short simulations. To get more accurate results, you can increase the simulation duration in the 'Simulation Settings' section to create a larger sample size.

Caution: A longer duration combined with many changes will significantly increase the total time it takes for the script to run all your tests!
