VRChat Extended Favorites

A simple userscript to give you the ability to favorite more avatars.

Note: Private avatars CANNOT be added to extended favorites as of now.

None of the utilities provided by this userscript will EVER modify your actual favorite avatars on vrchat.

I tried to make this userscript as simple as possible to use. When you first go to your favorited avatars page on vrchat, all the avatars will have "Add to extended ⭐" buttons on the avatar cards. This will, as the name implies, add the avatar to your extended favorites list. Click it again to remove.

To view your extended favorites, open up the tampermonkey (or userscript manager of choice) menu and below "VRChat Extended Favorites" there should be a button that says "Toggle Menu" that once clicked will open up the extended favorites menu.

On the top bar of this menu, there are the following buttons: Import, Export, Wipe, Add Visible, Exit.

  • Import: Shows a prompt asking you to paste in JSON data of a extended favorites list. If valid, it will MERGE the list of avatars with your current list.
  • Export: Saves the current list of extended favorites as JSON data that gets written to your clipboard.
  • Wipe: If confirmed, it will remove all of your extended favorites.
  • Add Visible: Adds all currently visible avatar cards on the page (ones that have the "Add/Remove to extended ⭐" button) into your extended favorites list.
  • Exit: Just closes the menu.

For each avatar in your extended favorites, there are the following buttons: Remove, Use Avatar, Open URL.

  • Remove: If confirmed, removes the avatar from your extended favorites.
  • Use Avatar: Switches your actual avatar in-game to the chosen avatar.
  • Open URL: Opens the avatar's vrchat.com page in a new tab.

Tip: You can add the avatar you are currently using in-game by going to this page on vrchat.com as it shows an actual avatar card.
