Pin ChatGPT Chats

This Tampermonkey/Violentmonkey userscript enhances the ChatGPT sidebar by allowing you to pin your favorite chats for quick access.
Pinned chats are saved in your browser’s local storage and persist across page reloads.

Features

  • 📌 Pinned section at the top of the chat list with its own header and visual separator.
  • ★ Pinned icon always visible for pinned chats.
  • ☆ Unpinned icon appears only on hover for a clean, minimal look.
  • 🔄 Real-time updates using MutationObserver – new chats or sidebar changes are automatically handled.

How It Works

  • Click the icon next to a chat to pin or unpin it.
  • Pinned chats move to a dedicated Pinned section above the rest of your chats.
