This userscript adds a floating button to AAS (IOPscience) journal article pages, allowing you to quickly open the corresponding NASA ADS abstract.

If you're reading a paper on an AAS journal site (e.g., ApJ, AJ, ApJL, etc.), the script will automatically extract the DOI from the URL and provide a convenient link to view the abstract on NASA ADS.

Features:

  • Extracts DOI from the URL
  • Builds a link to the corresponding ADS abstract page
  • Displays a clean, floating button in the bottom-right corner
  • Works on all article pages under iopscience.iop.org

Supported journals include:

  • The Astrophysical Journal (ApJ)
  • The Astronomical Journal (AJ)

🛠 No configuration needed — just install and you’ll see a “NASA ADS” blue button appear in the bottom-right corner of AAS article page!
