PS4 & PS5 Controller to Keyboard Mapper for Bonk.io and Hitbox.io

This userscript maps your PS4 or PS5 controller inputs to keyboard keys for seamless gameplay on Bonk.io, Hitbox.io, and similar browser games.

  • Left thumbstick & D-pad control movement using W, A, S, D keys.
  • X button and thumbstick up both press W for flexible upward movement.
  • Square button and L2 trigger simulate the Spacebar.
  • Circle button and R2 trigger send both X and Left Shift keys simultaneously for sprint or special actions.
  • Designed for smooth and responsive controls without requiring extra software.
  • Compatible with most modern browsers supporting the Gamepad API.

Important:
Please change your in-game keybindings to:

  • Move Up: W (also triggered by X button and D-pad up)
  • Move Left: A
  • Move Down: S
  • Move Right: D
  • Jump or Action: Spacebar
  • Sprint or Special Action: X + Shift (triggered together)

Most games let you customize controls in their settings. Make sure your bindings match the keys above.

Note:
Some modifier keys like Shift may not always be detected perfectly in every game due to browser/game limitations.

Supported Controllers:

  • PS4 DualShock 4
  • PS5 DualSense
  • Likely works with other standard gamepads supporting Gamepad API (PS3 support limited).
