Force Reddit to always use "hot" sort globally, including r/popular, r/all, all subreddits, and dynamic navigation (SPA). Works on both mobile and the Desktop!
This script aims to always sort subreddits by "Hot" category. After getting fed up with Reddits unnecessary html changes I decided to put a stop to this myself.
Reddit used to sort by "hot" by default back in the day. It also worked very well with third party reddit clients until Reddit destroyed those as well. Now "Best" is set to default and reddit offers no option in the setting for it.
The script is simple. It intercepts the mechanism that sets to best by default and force all sorted to set to hot. Very simple and very cool 😎
