NexusMods Gallery Preview Hover (Universal)

Preview all mod gallery images instantly just by hovering over a mod link or thumbnail—no need to click through!

Features

  • Instant preview of all thumbgallery images for any mod.
  • Works everywhere: mod lists, search results, user profile mod pages, etc.
  • Preview appears as a tile grid (2 columns) near the hovered link or image. Scroll for more if needed.
  • Preview stays visible if your mouse enters the popup; disappears automatically when you leave.
  • Supports all games on Nexus Mods, not just Skyrim SE!

Instructions

  1. Install this userscript via Tampermonkey or Violentmonkey extension in your browser.
  2. Visit Nexus Mods and browse any mod search, game, or user mod list page.
  3. Hover your mouse over any mod's main link (for example, https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/12345) or over a mod's thumbnail image.
  4. The preview will pop up showing all gallery images for that mod, fetched in real time. No click needed!

Tips

  • Preview is shown only for main mod links without extra URL parameters (no ?tab= etc).
  • Scroll inside the popup for mods with many images.
  • Works with any game on Nexus Mods (not just Skyrim!)

Technical

  • Fetches the mod page in the background to extract thumbgallery images via GM_xmlhttpRequest.
  • No analytics, tracking, or data sent anywhere else.
