This code allows Powerline.io "Lines" to follow your mouse cursor! In other words, they will zigzag back and forth very fast to go towards your mouse pointer.

Controls:

  • Space: Toggles on/off the follow mouse feature
  • Shift: Turns on the line-lock feature

How to use:

  • The menu is in the top left corner of the screen and has 3 input values.
  • The first is the frequency that it zigzags. A higher frequency means faster zigzags, and therefore a smoother curve; however, too fast and it might be too laggy or Powerline.io might physically rate-limit you.
  • The second is the Line-step. This controls how accurate your mouse cursor positions are. For example, setting it to 10 will make the Powerline only go to all angles that are multiples of 10. Setting it to 90 will make it only go up, down, left, right. The smaller the number, the more smooth and accurate; however, Powerline.io only allows it to be somewhat smooth since it doesn't allow the players to move less than a certain amount each keypress. Therefore, I prefer 10; this allows it to be about as accurate as the game allows, while also making it fairly easy to go in straight lines and hug walls.
  • The final is the Line-lock. This is activatable by holding down shift. This causes the Powerline to start locking to all angles that are multiples of this value. I'd recommend setting this to 90, and there's really no reason you shouldn't. The purpose of this is so that you don't accidentally move the mouse ever so slightly when your hugging a flat wall or Powerline, causing the Powerine to follow the mouse and run into the object, eliminating you.

Purpose:

  • Tbh, idrk. Not the worst if you're trying to play the game and win, but also definitely somewhat random and not great either. I guess its just fun to make neat shapes and whatnot, and confuse other players on how you are "so good at drawing".
