Easy Copy Selected Text – Enhanced
This script automatically copies selected text to the clipboard and shows a notification. It uses the modern Clipboard API or falls back to document.execCommand('copy').

Instructions

  1. Install Tampermonkey.
  2. Add the script to Tampermonkey.
  3. Select text on any page to copy it. A notification confirms it worked.
  4. Toggle it on/off with Alt.

Configuration

  • enabledByDefault: Starts active.
  • copyDelay: Delay before copying (ms).
  • selectionDelay: Delay for selection updates (ms).
  • notificationDuration: Notification display time (ms).
  • toggleKey: Key to toggle (default: Alt).
  • middleClickPaste: Enable middle-click pasting.

Notes

  • Best on HTTPS pages.
  • No characters before the meta block.
  • Free to use and modify.
