See online friends on your home page where the "Cool New People" section normally shows. Also displays an alert when a friend is no longer in your friend list.

Whenever you load your home page, a list of all your friends will be saved in the local storage of your browser. Before this happens, it compares the current friend list to what was previously in the list.
When a friend no longer shows up in your list, for whatever reason, you will see a message on your home page like in the image below.
The "Cool New People" section will be replaced with an "Online Friends" section.
