YouTube - Add Watch Later Button

This userscript adds a convenient "Watch Later" button next to the like button on YouTube video pages. It allows you to quickly add or remove videos from your Watch Later playlist without navigating through additional menus.

Features

How It Works

The script injects a new button into the YouTube interface. When clicked, it will:

  1. Add the current video to your Watch Later playlist if it's not already there
  2. Remove the current video from your Watch Later playlist if it's already there

The button's icon will change to indicate whether the video is currently in your Watch Later playlist or not.

Installation

  1. Make sure you have a userscript manager installed (like Tampermonkey or Greasemonkey)
  2. Click the "Install" button on this Greasyfork page
  3. Confirm the installation in your userscript manager

Compatibility

  • This script is designed to work with the latest version of YouTube's interface
  • Last tested and confirmed working as of July 29, 2024
