Remove sponsor banners on twitch
Removes the annoying sponsor banners on twitch, specifically the overlay below the stream, on the chat, and on the stream itself.
This only works if the stream page is refreshed after opening. If the stream page is loaded from the "following" tab for example by clicking on the stream name, it will not work. Simply refresh the page once you've opened the stream to make the script function properly.
Known issues:
- Refreshing the player without refreshing the page (for example if the player runs into a decoding error) will cause the banner/sponsor icon over the stream to reappear. This can currently only be remedied by refreshing the entire page, or manually re-deleting the element via the element inspector.- An ad running on the page before the actual stream content loads will prevent the script from being able to delete the stream overlay banner/sponsor icon. I am working on a fix for this.
