This Tampermonkey script allows you to change the tab icon and name of any webpage.

Description

Tab Icon and Name Changer is a user script that enhances your browsing experience by enabling you to customize the tab icon and title according to your preferences. With this script, you can personalize how tabs appear in your web browser.

Features

  • Change the tab icon: Replace the default tab icon with a custom icon of your choice.
  • Modify the tab title: Set a new title for the tab to reflect your desired text.
  • If you want to Only Change One feature ie. icon then just leave the field blank

Usage

  1. Install the Tampermonkey extension for your web browser.
  2. Install this script by visiting the Tab Icon and Name Changer script page on Greasy Fork.
  3. Once installed, a new option called "Tab Icon and Name Changer" will be added to the Tampermonkey menu.
  4. Click on the "Tab Icon and Name Changer" option in the Tampermonkey menu.
  5. Follow the prompts to enter the URL of the new tab icon and the desired tab title.
  6. The tab icon and title will be updated accordingly, providing a personalized touch to your browsing experience.

Compatibility

This script is compatible with all web browsers that have a Userscript extension eg, Tampermonkey.

Note: Changing the tab icon and title only affects your local representation of the tab and does not modify the website itself.
