Installation

  • To install the script, you will first need to install the Tampermonkey (Chrome), (Opera) or Greasemonkey (Firefox) extension/addon. Mac users can install Tampermonkey in the App Store
  • Once you have installed this extension, you can click install on this page.
  • This will redirect you to another page on which you can see the code in this script, click install on that page once again.
  • After installing the script, you will have to refresh EpikChat if you had it open beforehand

How does this script work

This script will listen to all events that involve users camming up/down and becoming active/idle through the Websocket provided by EpikChat. A state will be held in memory and gets updated as users' cam/activity statuses change. Once a user cams up/down or becomes active/idle, the script will update the Viewers list accordingly with the correct cam and activity icons rather than sometimes leaving them blank/incorrect.

How to uninstall

To remove the script, all you have to do is click the Tampermonkey icon on top of your browser TamperMonkey icon and click Dashboard. On the dashboard you locate the script and click the trashcan icon trashcan icon
