Shows a small ! in the bottom left corner, if a !Bang exists for the site you are currently visiting. Hover to see the list of available !Bangs.

Sorting is not alphabetically, most used are on top.

Missing a Bang? There are a few scenarios for that:

  • the list of bangs is not up to date (it's from 2017, more on that below)
  • it is only a wrapper for site-search (e.g. !4chan only searches with site:4chan.org on DDG). You can the suggestions for those visiting DDG or google.com (.com is important).
  • search of your site uses a different domain (e.g. hackernews' search is on hn.algolia.com)
  • I messed up subdomains or something

Want to update to something more recent? The list got too long and I can't host it here. You can grab https://duckduckgo.com/bang.js and copy the content. Replace line 18 with it and you're golden.
