Bitcointalk.org is a popular bitcoin forum, largely for historical reasons.
Over time, it has become overrun with ads, both in post signatures as some users desperately try to make a few satoshis by annoying everyone else, as well as by the forum itself, probably to help cover the cost for the new beta forum.
It's dumb, and you don't have to put up with it.
