Wanna see the full-sized image or the video source on Instagram and be able to download it? This script opens the files after using Shift-click on the photo or video preview.

Features:

  1. Gets the correct full-sized image (nothing cropped) in maximum resolution
  2. Opens full size image from main feed, profile gallery or single-image page
  3. Opens video file on single-video page or from video popup
  4. Files can be directly saved from browser window
  5. Quick access on single-image/video pages with the keyboard shortcut alt+f.

Usage: left-click on preview image/video while holding the shift key or alt key (opens im same window). Keyboard: press alt+f on single image/video page.

Info on downloads: due to restrictions it's not possible to force the browser to download the files directly. Instagram saves its content on different domains. I tried ;)
