I can't reproduce this behavior. Whenever I start a chat in Direct mode and then switch to Battle mode for the second turn, the chat gets cleared and I'm redirected to https://lmarena.ai/c/new.

I'm unable to have a conversation that switches between modes in the same chat, as you've shown.

How are you able to do this? Is LMArena A/B testing different features? I don't seem to have this functionality.
