IMDB List Importer (No-Duplicates)

A powerful, smart tool to import titles (movies/TV shows) or people (names) into your IMDb lists without creating messy duplicates.

🚀 Key Features

  • Smart Remote Deduplication: Before adding any item, the script queries your current list. If a title is already present, it is automatically skipped.
  • Local Deduplication: If your input text or CSV file contains duplicate IDs, the script filters them out locally first to ensure a clean import.
  • CSV & Text Support: Import using raw text (pasting ttIDs) or upload a .csv file.
  • Auto-Detect Columns: In CSV mode, it automatically identifies "Const" (IDs) and "Description" columns.
  • Order Control: Choose exactly where to insert items: At the beginning, the end, or a specific position in your list.
  • Custom Descriptions: Supports importing custom descriptions for each item directly from your CSV.

🛠 How to Use

  1. Navigate to the Edit page of any of your IMDb lists (the URL should end in /edit).
  2. You will see a new "Import List" panel at the top of the page.
  3. Paste your ttIDs (e.g., tt1234567) into the text box OR select your .csv file.
  4. Adjust your settings (Unique check, Reverse order, Position).
  5. Click Start Import and wait for the process to finish. The page will reload automatically once done.
