It is so cool that someone made a userscript that does this. I like how it is automatic. The user does not have to copy text, select text, or open text up in a side panel or popup window. The text will be automatically spoken aloud once the bot has finished responding. That said, the userscript is a bit glitchy. For instance, I have Zira selected for all three voices - default, user, and character - and it still uses David's voice. I found that the userscript wouldn't work unless I refreshed the chat page first. But this is a one of a kind userscript that deserves only good ratings. It would be cool though if you could change the conversations tab volume instead of relying on Chrome's app volume. And if only Chrome supported SAPI-5 voices. I have a Michelle voice that I downloaded that sounds a billion times better than Zira's, but Chrome is limited in that it won't use those SAPI-5 voices. It is a limitation that I don't think any userscript can get around. And I'm not about to pay for Cloud voices. But if you can ever contact the developer of 'https://chromewebstore.google.com/detail/ms-edge-tts-text-to-speec/oajalfneblkfiejoadecnmodfpnaeblh' and figure out what they did, somehow they have Michelle's voice working in their free extension.
