Civitai being an absolute slog was irritating me so I spent a day I should have spent on self-improvement improving the experience. This script just intercepts videos and prevents them from autoplaying. There's probably a browser setting for this, but I also wanted play on hover, so.
You can edit the userscript and change "const PLAY_ON_HOVER = true;" to "const PLAY_ON_HOVER = false;" if videos playing on mouseover bugs you.
