Google Search Custom Sidebar - Supercharge Your Search!

Tired of digging through menus for Google's advanced search operators? Google Search Custom Sidebar adds a powerful and highly configurable sidebar to your Google search results page, giving you instant access to advanced filters and tools right where you need them.

Key Features:

  • Quick Filters:
    • Language: Filter results by specific languages.
    • Time: Quickly select predefined time ranges (past hour, day, week, month, year) or set a custom date range.
    • Filetype: Filter by common file types (PDF, DOCX, XLSX, PPTX, etc.).
    • Country/Region: Limit results to specific countries.
    • Keyword Location: Specify where your keywords should appear:
      • Anywhere in the page (default)
      • In the title of the page
      • In the text of the page
      • In the URL of the page
  • Enhanced Site Search:
    • Quickly search within your predefined favorite websites.
    • Checkbox Mode for Site Search (Optional): Select multiple favorite sites via checkboxes for a combined (site:A OR site:B) search.
    • TLD/SLD Support for Favorite Sites: Add domains like .edu, .gov.uk, or even specific TLDs/SLDs directly to your favorite sites list.
  • Essential Tools:
    • Verbatim Search Toggle: Easily switch to "Verbatim" mode for exact phrase matching.

Highly Customizable:

  • Button Placement: Customize the location of Reset, Verbatim, Advanced Search, and Personalization buttons (Sidebar Header, Top Block, Tools Section, or Hide).
  • Custom Filter Options: Add your own custom languages, time ranges, filetypes, countries, and favorite sites.
  • Interface Language: Auto-detects browser language or can be manually set (Supports English, 繁體中文, 日本語, Français, Deutsch, Español, Italiano, Русский, and more via the external i18n script).
  • Accordion Mode: Optionally, allow only one section to be expanded at a time.

How to Use:

  1. The sidebar will automatically appear on Google search results pages.
