Adds shortcuts to get across the site faster.

About the Latest Update

  • Setup Menu: A new setup menu is introduced to ensure that hotkeys are enabled without errors. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the setup.
  • New Hotkeys: A variety of new hotkeys have been added to make navigation easier and more intuitive across the Edio website. The full list of hotkeys can be found below.
  • Font Size Adjustment: The hotkeys now include the ability to increase or decrease the font size for most text elements on the page. Notes and hotkey-related elements remain unaffected.
  • Mouse Movement Over Notes: Notes can now be dragged around the screen using your mouse.
  • Bug Fixes: bleh bleh bleh

Features

  • Quick Navigation: Jump to different sections of the Edio website using custom shortcuts (such as redirecting to your dashboard, calendar, etc).
  • Font Size Adjustment: Increase or decrease the font size for most text on the page, excluding notes and hotkey-related elements.
  • Notes with Drag-and-Drop: Create notes, position them around the page, and resize their text. Notes are also saved between sessions.
  • Setup and Error Handling: Follow a simple setup process to enable hotkeys and prevent errors. If something goes wrong, a helpful error message will pop up.

How to Use

  1. Install the Script: Add the script to your userscript manager (e.g., ViolentMonkey or Tampermonkey).
  2. Refresh the Edio Website: Refresh the page after installing the script to activate the hotkeys.
  3. Follow the Setup Instructions: You will be prompted to complete the setup steps to enable Edio Hotkeys properly. This ensures everything works as expected.
  4. Start Using Shortcuts: Once the setup is complete, you can start using the hotkeys to navigate the site faster and more efficiently.

Hotkeys List

Here are the available hotkeys for the Edio Hotkeys script:

General Navigation Hotkeys

  • Alt + R: Redirect to the last thing you where working on.
  • Alt + C: Navigate to the Calendar.
  • Alt + Q: Logs you out.
  • Alt + D: Redirect to the Dashboard.
  • Alt + L: Redirect to the User Directory page using the saved user ID. If no user ID is found, an error message will display.
  • Alt + F: Toggle fullscreen mode on a video or the entire page (if no video is present).
  • Alt + M: Mute or unmute all audio and video elements on the page.

Notes and Font Size Hotkeys

  • Alt + N: Create a new note on the page.
  • Alt + = or Alt + +: Increase the font size of all text elements on the page.
  • Alt + -: Decrease the font size of all text elements on the page.

Special Key Hotkeys

  • Shift + R: Reload the page.
  • Double Press H: Open the Hotkeys Overlay to show all available hotkeys. This only works if you press "H" twice within a short time frame.

Font Size and Notes Exclusion

  • Font Size Adjustments: The + and - keys for adjusting font size only affect regular text elements, and not notes or hotkey-related elements.
  • Note Elements: Notes (created with Alt + N) can be resized independently of the page's font size.
  • Note Interaction: Notes can be dragged around the screen with the mouse, and double-clicking a note will remove it.

Future Updates

  • Hotkey Preferences: More options for setting and configuring hotkey preferences will be available.
  • Dark Mode: A version of Edio that's easier on the eyes.
