It seems like there's an issue with gallery_dl
or something else. I just tried the dev version of gallery_dl
with an account that has only a few media files, but it still didn't work.
There’s nothing I can do if the issue is related to gallery_dl.
I can only wait for an update, or you can try again later with an account that has fewer than 1,000 media files. If it works, that means the issue is that gallery_dl
isn’t capable of scraping thousands of media files yet.
Alright, so it seems like it’s a problem with gallery_dl.
Because I tested it today, and I specifically downloaded a few accounts with fewer media files and found that they could be downloaded and zipped normally.
I’ve tested various possible situations, and since I still couldn’t download, that’s why I came to report the issue.
Well, I guess now I can only download from accounts with fewer media files. Thank you!
However, today I did manage to download from a Twitter account that had exactly 1000 media files, and it downloaded without any issues.
The number of media files is based on the 'media' count shown on Twitter, not the total number of files downloaded. After all, a tweet can have multiple images or videos, but it can still be downloaded normally.
Gallery_dl may just not support scraping tweets with a large number of media files.

Hello, author. Today, when I was using your script to download media files from two Twitter accounts with a large number of media files, I encountered an error notification saying 'Check Your Auth Token!' and couldn't download the files.
I have ruled out issues with the Auth Token, VPN, and other possible causes, but it still doesn't work. I think there might be one possibility left: Could the script have a limit on the maximum number of files or the size of files that can be downloaded?
