A free, full-featured chat saver for Discord.
A number of people have built chat savers for Discord. But most of them, maybe all of them, will only save a fixed number of messages at a time, unless you pay. Well, why pay for a chat saver when I could write a free one myself? And so, after a week of work, here it is.
Jupiter's Discord Chat Saver can save as much of a chat as you want, for free.
How does it work?
Click the Copy Chat button to open the Copy popup. The popup watches the chat and records everything in it. Pick your starting point, open the popup, and then scroll the chat until you've loaded up all the messages you want. Discord unloads chat messages as you go, but the popup keeps them all. If manual operation is tedious, use the Autoscroll feature. It can even scroll to a specific date if you want it to.
Once you've loaded up everything you want to save, just press the Save button, and your chat will download. By default, in addition to the text, images, and animations in the chat, it will save full-size images, inline audio, and as many attachments as it can successfully fetch.
Can it save content from servers as well? It sure can.
I've done my best to make this a robust, full-featured chat saver. And now I'm offering it to you, completely free.
Note: This script was written for the desktop version of Discord and has not been tested on the mobile site.
