Ultimate Floatplane Beta Redirector

Description

This userscript automatically redirects all Floatplane URLs (www.floatplane.com and floatplane.com) to the beta version (beta.floatplane.com). It's highly configurable, efficient, and designed to handle various edge cases.

Configuration Options

  • Target Hostname: The domain to redirect to (default: beta.floatplane.com)
  • Redirect Delay: Initial delay before attempting redirection (default: 50ms)
  • Max Retries: Maximum number of redirect attempts (default: 3)
  • Retry Interval: Time between redirect attempts (default: 100ms)
  • Whitelist Paths: Comma-separated list of paths to exclude from redirection (default: /api/, /cdn/)

How to Use

  1. Install a userscript manager like Violentmonkey or Tampermonkey in your browser.
  2. Install this script from Greasy Fork.
  3. Visit any Floatplane URL, and you'll be automatically redirected to the beta version.
  4. To customize settings, click on the Violentmonkey/Tampermonkey icon, find this script, and use the commands in the menu.
