the issue with low-quality preview images appears to have been fixed as of version 1.4.1.
spoke too soon, this script still downloads the low-quality preview images only.
the remaining issue is with image galleries only (downloads low-quality preview versions).
thanks, works exactly as described now.
currently downloads the low-quality preview versions of the images despite claiming to do the opposite. also has issues with multi-image posts, as noted in other reviews.
