Good thing, this works, great after Google chopped Manifest v2 which made "Automatic Twitch: Drops, Moments, Points" extension to die. Bad thing, it made me open 2 of the same stream (2 tabs, 1 same streamer) so that it can track progress properly (Twitch doesn't care as long as it's the same stream on 2 browser tabs). Also, you must tone down aggressive 2 minutes (default) refresh limit for inventory to minimum of 10 minutes and occasionally check if it's stuck if you previously had hundreds and hundreds of other drops (cripples Twitch reloading time, sometimes empty page).

Another thing, if you have progression from multiple games at once (currently having 8 at the moment), this script just goes back and forth between; 1 stream that has increasing progress (the one you want to) and 1 other stream that has the most progress on it (not the stream you currently want to). So this needs a little look at under the hood to track on the progress making drop, not the most progressed drop. So, let's say you got the progressed drop, script still insists on progression of another stream that wasn't even open instead of saying "I finished the current, choose another stream to progress".

All in all, it's a good script but really needs patching because Automatic Twitch: Drops, Moments and Points (dead extension unless you downgrade your Chrome to v136.0.xxx) still the best drop scripting there's. So if I have to give a score 4/5 to indicate need for more polish.

Thanks for the feedback, but a few clarifications:

  1. Regarding the issues you mentioned I’ve already stated in the usage notes that this is just a simple script without adaptive features. If you encounter performance or behavior that doesn’t fit your setup, you should adjust the parameters in Config accordingly.

  2. Script scope and purpose This script is an improved version of similar DOM-based implementations. It is not the same as Automatic Twitch: Drops, Moments, Points, which was a browser extension making API requests. A script and an extension operate at very different levels, and this script was never intended to be that kind of all-in-one universal tool.

  3. Progression logic The script already prioritizes the drop with the most progress (closest to completion). If what you expect is a completely different logic, that is beyond the intended scope of this script.

In short: this is a simple automation script meant to be customized by the user, not a full-featured drop manager. The design goals and implementation are different from the old extension. If you prefer the way Automatic Twitch: Drops, Moments, and Points worked, perhaps fixing that extension would suit your needs better.
