Transform your YouTube Music experience! With the YouTube Music Fluid Player script, we reinvent the way you interact with YouTube Music. My script optimizes the website layout, morphing it into a sleek, fluid, and user-friendly music player. Experience your favorite songs without the clutter of traditional video interface.

To Toggle on and off simply double press ctrl

if you don't like ctrl I have added a comment to change this in the code :)

Important Note: For the optimal music-listening experience, you might need to adjust your browser zoom level.

The script doesn't currently support automatic zooming due to restrictions in user script capabilities. It seems that adjusting the zoom at the browser level works great for now, though there are plans to explore CSS-based solutions. Assistance and suggestions are welcomed!

Here's how to use it:

  • Install the script from this page.
  • Open YouTube Music in your browser.
  • To activate the script, just double-press the 'Control' key. Watch as the music video and other non-essential elements fade away, transforming your screen into a seamless, focused audio player.
  • To revert back to the standard view, double-press the 'Control' key again.

(Note: This script is designed to work on https://music.youtube.com/* URLs. Make sure your URL matches this pattern for the script to function correctly.)

Note: the before and after pictures are with the zoom adjusted, for MacBooks it seems like 150% is optimal, for bigger screens it goes up to 300%+ depending on size
